Smell and feel like British royalty at Penhaligon’s new Harbour City store

SPONSORED: British perfume house, Penhaligon’s, famous for a client list that boasts the British Royal Family, Margaret Thatcher, and Kate Moss, graces Hong Kong with their second boutique in Harbour City, Hong Kong.

The Harbour City store is the fragrance house’s third boutique opening in the region, with its first store’s grand opening taking place just in Nov. last year at Central’s IFC mall and it’s Macau outlet at the Four Seasons Shoppes in Feb. this year.

Walk into any Penhaligon’s store and you will immediately sense their unique and carefully crafted scents and feel like you’ve been whisked to the British traditional Victorian era, owing to the boutique’s intricately designed wood paneling, traditional craftsmanship and antique furnishings.

Probably worth a mention is the perfume house holds two long-standing Royal Warrants from HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, which was granted in 1956, and from HRH The Prince of Wales, which was granted in 1988. And until today, all of Penhaligon’s scents are still made in England using the finest rare ingredients.

The fragrance house’s regal and royal connections aren’t unfounded; Penhaligon’s was founded by William Henry Penhaligon, who was once Queen Victoria’s Court Barber and Perfurmer.

Head over to the Harbour City store to sniff around and you might just rub shoulders with someone or something that’s important!
