A netizen posted a photo of a cooked chicken that looks very, very wrong — blue and bruised all over — which has gone viral. In the photo, the cooked chicken was in a white styrfoam box and a plastic bag from Tao Heung restaurant, which the netizen said he bought from Tao Heung in Kwai Chung.
Other netizens who saw the photo commented that the chicken looks disgusting and that it looks poisoned. According to the man who bought it, Lee, he purchased this chicken at a discount and after storing it in the fridge for a day, he took it out to eat it but discovered that the chicken was swathed with an unappetising blue hue all over, even leaking out blue fluids. Experts say that these blue swaths might be caused by impact to the chicken, or a chicken that has started to decay. Tao Heung, however, said that this was a prank being played on them and has alerted the police.
