A gang of youths savagely injured a 14-year-old girl in Ma On Shan Sunshine City Plaza with glass shards.
The incident happened at the mall’s stairwell when the 14-year-old teen got into an argument with 10 youths, aged between 14 to 18.
The gang surrounded her and assaulted her, and three of the girls used glass shards to cut her face, hands, and feet before running off. The teen went to the hospital for treatment herself and after police investigation, two girls were arrested.
