At around 6pm today a 30-year-old woman reportedly had her neck slashed by a 20-year-old man on Mong Kok’s Argyle Street.
An eyewitness told Apple Daily that he saw the woman sitting on the pavement, her neck wound bleeding profusely as a man, who he assumed to be her attacker, stood by her side holding a box cutter.
He was 1.6-metre-tall, tattooed, and wearing a black shirt.
The tattooed man did not leave the scene of the crime and was later subdued by another tattoeed passerby while others gave first aid to the victim.
He stayed there until the police arrived and reportedly did not resist his arrest.
Post852 reports that the man intended on attacking his girlfriend, who is friends with the victim and was also present at the time of the alleged attack.
