Lingnan University’s Public Governance Research Center released the results of its second year Children Happiness findings.
According to the findings, children in Primary Four to Form Three were happier in 2013 with the average happiness at 7.23 points, compared to the results in 2012 which indicated happiness levels at 6.91 points.
Findings also indicated that the happiness levels improved more greatly among secondary school students. However, due to the higher demands of homework, exams, and future career considerations, secondary school students are generally less happy than primary school students, and are more stressed.
