Paramedics headed to 28-48 Shui Wo Street, Kwun Tong last night to pick up a 41-year-old woman who was feeling dizzy.
The residential building was an old walkup apartment, so a paramedic left the wheelchair at the bottom of the stairs. After treating the woman, who later decided she did not need to head to the hospital, the medical team headed back downstairs to where the HK$2,000 worth wheelchair was left, only to discover that it had been stolen. Police were called to the scene, but the wheelchair was not found.
Seriously, who would do such a thing – the wheelchair is for paramedics to save lives!
