A work gondola where four workers were on snapped into two and killed two today, as it fell 500 feet from the 50th floor of a luxury apartment building, Tregunter Towers, at The Peak.
The four workers were on the work gondola for exterior wall maintenance work.
Two out of four of the workers were able to climb to safety when the incident happened.
Debris from the snapped gondola punctured through the roof of a car parked on Tregunter Path, the driver suffered arm injuries and was sent to Queen Mary Hospital.
