Woman robbed of HKD15,000 by gang of 4 and left stranded on Kowloon Peak

A gang of four men giving a female acquaintance a lift in their car reportedly left her stranded on Kowloon Peak after robbing her of HKD15,000 in cash and valuables.

The victim, a 22-year-old woman, had dinner in Tai Po on Saturday evening with a man she recently befriended, who brought three friends.

Apple Daily reports that the men offered to drive the woman to her home in Sau Mau Ping. As the car was driving through Ma On Shan Country Park, the victim reportedly got into a dispute with the men, who hit her twice.

They allegedly robbed her of HKD12,000 in cash and two smartphones, worth HKD3,100, then left her stranded on Kowloon Peak. She began walking down the mountain and luckily came across some firefighters, who gave her a lift to Wong Tai Sin Police Station in their fire engine.

A police source told Apple Daily that they are searching for four Cantonese-speaking men between the ages of 20 and 30, two of whom have dyed blond hair. No arrests have been made yet.
