A 10-metre-tall tree fell onto Bonham Road this morning at around 11:45am, injuring a male newspaper vendor and a female pedestrian in addition to hitting a delivery van.
The police told the SCMP that the two were taken to Queen Mary Hospital in a conscious state.
According to RTHK, their injuries are not severe.
On Monday, a woman suffered minor injuries when a 14-metre-tall Banyan tree – weighing up to 10 tons – fell on Lower Albert Road, right outside the Government House, reports EJI.
As of 1pm today, the police have received reports of about 20 fallen trees.
