A 32-year-old woman was arrested earlier today after she allegedly threw a pot of boiled hot and sour fish at a man in a Yau Ma Tei restaurant.
The woman, surnamed Lee, was seated at an outdoor table of a Sichuan restaurant on Portland Street with a friend, surnamed Tin, at 1am today.
HK01 reports that the pair had been drinking “a lot of beer” and got into a drunken dispute with two male diners, surnamed Chung and Yuen, who were sitting at a neighbouring table.
During the argument, Lee reportedly threw cups, plates, and glass bottles from her table at the men before allegedly picking up an entire steel pot of Sichuan boiled fish at Yuen.

Yuen, 27, was splashed by the broth, but wasn’t burned.
