Every year, the real rugby fans warm up for the Sevens by going to the Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC) Tens, its smaller, less rowdy cousin that’s usually free of grown men in baby diaper costumes and pitchers full of warm urine.
The Tens are usually a sports-star-studded affair, with the likes of Jonah Lomu coming to play every year before his untimely passing last year. The 2016 Tens are no different: USA player and NFL Super Bowl champion Nate Ebner, three former All Blacks, and players from the Fiji, Canada and England teams are among those making an appearance at the GFI HKFC 10s.
