Fung Wo Estate, Sha Tin, where the couple and their five-year-old daughter live
A 41-year-old woman, unhappy with her daughter’s results in kindergarten, scolded her five-year-old daughter until she cried in their Sha Tin flat. Her husband, who was asleep, was woken up. When he found out what happened, he scolded his wife for making their daughter cry. The couple’s argument escalated and the woman scratched her husband, then tried to stab him with a knife, injuring his arm. The police arrested the wife and escorted the victim to the hospital. The husband said that his wife loves their daughter very much but has a bad temper.
