Clearwater Bay beach
The Environmental Protection Department just released its latest report on beach water quality, and found that Hong Kong’s cleanest beaches are Clearwater Bay Second Beach, Deepwater Bay Beach, and the Gold Coast Beach.
All three have first-grade water quality, while Silverstrand Beach was rated as having second-grade water quality. A first-grade water quality has very low E. coli bateria count and undetectable illness rates.
