Hong Kong’s democracy darling Joshua Wong could not honestly be described as a wet blanket – but that’s exactly what he woke up with yesterday morning, according to reports.
The 18-year-old leader of Scholarism apparently told other protesters that he suspected someone of entering his tent while he was sleeping and cutting open his plastic water bottle. Hmmm….likely story!
According to a report by Apple Daily, Wong woke up with a wet floor mat and water dripping from the bottle.
However, such a potentially embarrassing situation has not deterred the mighty Wong. He says he will not be scared off by the incident and has vowed to keep fighting to defend Tim Mei Avenue.
That boy sure is pissed.
