Remember how we said that Hongkongers will be effectively be getting one of the world’s lowest wage increases in 2014? If you don’t remember, click here.
Well, we should all support the Confederation of Trade Unions for proposing that pay increases next year should be no less than seven per cent because of high inflation and more favourable economic growth forecasted.
The chief executive of the union, Mung Siu-tat thinks that the originally proposed four per cent wage increase was way too low! We could not agree more!!!
