As if traffic on the Tuen Mun Road isn’t bad enough, now you have to watch out for your cars tires if your headed toward Tuen Mun.
Last November, over 50 cars busted their tires over protruding screws on the road, causing serious traffic congestion.
According to the Transport Department, this may be caused by a problem with the road expansion joints, but needs further investigation to be sure. This problem seems to be unique only to Tuen Mun Road so far and road workers have been asked to put extra attention in examining the road during its scheduled maintenance.
