Four people were injured after a crane-mounted truck plowed through a Hong Kong intersection, ramming both a van and a taxi out of the way without so much as slowing before crashing into a pillar in Central this afternoon.

Dash cam video posted online first shows a row of vehicles — including two taxis — lined up at a red light next to the the US Consulate on Garden Road in Central.

Suddenly, the speeding truck bursts into frame, pushing in front of it a minivan that appeared to have been stopped just out of view, slamming the van into the back of one of the cabs and pushing both vehicles out into the intersection.

Both the van and taxi are shoved out of the path of the still-speeding truck, which veers to the right slightly and collides with a pillar in front of the St. John’s Building.

According to HK01, the incident took place at 3pm.
