A male police officer was filmed pinning down a woman with his legs outside of the Tai Po Market MTR station yesterday.
The incident occurred during clashes between pro-democracy and anti-Occupy protesters, which led to three people being arrested (including a 13-year-old), and six police officers injured.
Apple Daily reports that the woman had accused a pro-police supporter of sexually assaulting her, and in the ensuing confusion a police officer pinned her to the ground.
In the video below, the incident can be seen from 1:50.
Video shows the police officer on his back with his legs over a woman, who is lying face down and struggling to get up.
The officer allegedly pinned her down for 10 minutes – despite a colleague’s repeated attempts to get him to stand up – until a female officer pulled the woman to her feet.
