A video of a woman spitting and smearing saliva on the door of an MTR carriage is going viral.
In the video, the woman is seen lowering her mask, spitting and dabbing saliva on the door at Kowloon Tong station.
A man yelled at her: “You are causing trouble here when people are going to work.”
An MTR staff can be seen trying to diffuse the tension.
All public transport commuters in Hong Kong are required to wear a mask at all the times as part of COVID-19 precautionary measures.
