VIDEO: Hong Kong woman might need skin grafts after tattoo removal goes horribly wrong

A Hong Kong woman named Wendy reportedly went to the Windland Medical Beauty Clinic in Mong Kok where she got multiple laser procedures to remove a tattoo of a blue feather on her left hand. She paid around HKD7,000 for the removal process, which she claims went horribly wrong and left her with severe burns.

After the first treatment, the nurse told Wendy everything was fine, but when the pain didn’t go away she went to the Tseung Kwan O hospital, where she was admitted for two days. The treatment may have permanently damaged the functioning of her hand and she may need skin grafts, reports Apple Daily.

After she sent photos to the clinic, Wendy was assigned a dermatologist by the clinic, which also offered to give her a full refund, although not before apparently questioning the authenticiy of the photos.

Perhaps the worst part? That tattoo’s still there.
