VIDEO: Hong Kong rugby team loses 28-3 to Uruguay in World Cup qualifying match

Hong Kong sadly lost 28-3 against hosts Uruguay in a qualifying match for the 2015 Rugby World Cup on Saturday. The match seemed to have slipped through the Hong Kong team’s hands, with the halftime score being 6-3, reports Reuters, though chances were slim to begin with as this is the closest Hong Kong has ever gotten to reaching the World Cup. Next time, lads!

Hong Kong player Chris McAdam scored the penalty goal during the first half. In the second half prop Leon Wei and captain Nick Hewson were both yellow carded at different times, meaning Hong Kong basically played with 14 men, according to the WSJ.
