An air hostess told local media she could have died during a three-car pile up earlier this week if she had been sitting on the other side of the taxi she was taking home from work.

And, boy, she was not kidding.

Just take a look at this video (below), in which the taxi in which the 33-year-old Cathay Pacific hostess was riding in is partially crushed by a truck in scenes that look like something out of an action movie car chase scene.

According to Apple Daily, the woman, identified as Miss Cheung, was on her way home to Kwun Tong when the crash occurred yesterday morning.

Cheung’s taxi was driving along Lung Cheung Road when, all of a sudden, a large truck that was driving in the center lane keeled over onto its side and landed on top of the taxi.

Dash cam footage also shows the truck push another taxi from the right lane into a concrete barrier.

Cheung told Apple Daily it was fortunate that she was wearing a seatbelt at the time.

She said: “At that moment, I immediately went to the driver and said ‘we need to get out of the car now,’ because you don’t know if the truck was going to come down.”

She was then sent to the hospital with minor injuries to her neck and hands along with three other men.
