Two men were arrested and sent to hospital last night after they were caught on camera brawling over a traffic dispute in Mong Kok.

HK01 reports that the incident happened in the middle of Dundas Street, close to the Gala Place shopping mall, at around 8pm.

Police told the outlet that the fight broke out between a 21-year-old man surnamed Cheung and a 47-year-old man surnamed Ng after Ng stopped his van in the middle of the road, effectively blocking other vehicles from getting through.

Cheung, who was in a Toyota Prius stuck behind the GOGOVAN, went to confront Ng, and a loud argument quickly descended into outright violence.

Video of the brawl first appeared on a Facebook group called “Hong Kong Peanut Friends,” and shows Cheung punching Ng, who’s still sitting in the driver’s seat, several times through the van’s window.

In an effort to protect himself from the rain of blows, Ng opens his car door to create more space between himself and Cheung.

In another video, filmed at street level and sent to Apple Daily, Ng can be heard yelling, “Call the police! Hurry up and call the police!” in between blows.

Police arrived at the scene, and both men were sent to Kwong Wah Hospital for treatment before being arrested for fighting in a public place.
