An image of an email an instructor from The Open University of Hong Kong sent to his students while he was trapped in a lift has gone viral. The instructor was on his way to teach a class when the lift malfunctioned and he was trapped inside.
Apple Daily reports that the instructor, surnamed Yeung, called his colleague to email his students, saying that their instructor is trapped in a lift, waiting to be rescued and that students should wait patiently and review study materials in the meantime, as the instructor will be on his way as soon as possible.
Netizens praised the instructor for being so responsible, and many complained about the state of Open University’s lifts.
