UA flight cancelled after pilot and two co-pilots injured in car accident

A traffic accident on Lantau injured a pilot and two co-pilots, and three others, causing a United Airlines flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco to be cancelled.

The injured airline crew were travelling in a private minibus from their hotel to Chep Lap Kok Airport when the minibus crashed into road works and further into two parked trucks.

327 passengers were affected by the flight cancellation, some were able to take alternative flights, whereas others were given a night stay before being rescheduled on another flight the following day.
