Two luxury homes burgled, HK$1.85 million stolen

Two more luxury houses in Repulse and Sai Kung add to the long list of homes being recently burgled.  

Two mainland visitors from Guangdong, aged 32 and 37, have been arrested for the break-in of the Repulse Bay home on 110 Repulse Bay Road on Monday night.

The police were alerted of the burglary and quickly set up road blocks in the area. They were able to intercept a taxi at a road block with the mainland robbers and were able to recover HK$250,000 in cash and jewellery.

Shortly after on Tuesday morning, just after midnight, a three-storey house in Chuk Kok Road, Sai Kung was burgled. Cash and valuables worth HK$1.6 million were stolen. Police organised a search but have not been able to arrest anyone reports the SCMP
