About 50% of the 27 types of toys investigated by the Consumer Council failed to meet safety standards.
According to The Standard, six samples of puzzles had dangerous tiny parts, with nine other toys that had small parts that could choke a child.
Sixteen samples had at least one type of plasticizer, and among these toys seven were over the safety standards set by the US and Europe.
