Reporters counted 27 wheeling suitcases and bags in a mere 10 minutes at Times Square, where tourists are sweeping goods off the shelves at stores like Louis Vuitton, Dior, and other luxury fashion stores.
The average line at these stores is 23 minutes long and at malls like Shatin’s New Town Plaza, wheeling suitcases are parked at every available space by mainland tourists, to the chagrin of Shatin residents.
Trust us, you’d want to avoid Causeway Bay, Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Kowloon Tong like the plague this Christmas.
