A 30-year-old tourist had to be saved by firefighters yesterday after he apparently toppled over a wall and fell five metres, landing on the patio of the historic King’s College in Sai Ying Pun.
He was heard shouting in pain at around 9am yesterday by passersby, who called emergency services. As the school was closed, the Fire Services Department reportedly had to break the door to save the tourist, who had landed on planters and injured his head.
