Three Indian businessmen held at gunpoint for three days in HK

Hours upon their arrival on Saturday, three Indian businessmen travelling on a business trip together were abducted and their families received a ransom demand of HK$19 million.

The three men were kept in a hideout in the New Territories – gangs guarded them with a firearm and choppers.

According to the SCMP, two men were arrested, a 27-year-old man of Indian descent captured in Hong Kong and a 28-year-old man was found by the police in India. Police are still looking for others involved, it is believed the gang had 5 to 6 men.

Details of the three businessmen’s release, aged 35, 48, and 55, have been kept under wraps to protect the victims. The ransom money was not paid.
