A photo of five teenagers taking photos and generally trespassing on the rooftop of a 26-storey building in Mong Kok has gone viral, attracting heavy criticism from netizens.
At 2:15pm yesterday, a passerby surnamed Lam noticed a group of five young adults strolling around a rooftop. The youngsters naturally took out a selfie stick, taking photos while their legs dangled off the ledge of the rooftop, reports Apple Daily.
“My legs were wobbling just looking at them,” Lam said. “They even sat there tanning! Imagine if one of them felt a bit faint and fell!”

The commercial building, situated on Tung Choi Street, has (obviously ineffective) security guards. The rooftop, however, is left unlocked.
Apple Daily contacted one of the five teens, who explained he decided to try out rooftopping after hearing about the trend online.
“I am not afraid of heights, but I am afraid of getting caught.”
Yeah, getting in trouble with adults is waaay worse than falling 26 stories.
