It was a mad hatter’s tea party meets WWE, though blows were real and the combatants are now being sought by police.
An argument between a waitress and a customer at a banquet hall restaurant in Sha Tin on Wednesday erupted into a full-on brawl, complete with teapots being hurled and shins being kicked.
Video of the fight — which happened during the breakfast rush around 7am — was posted online by Apple Daily this morning.
And it is madness.
In the video, a female waitress with brown hair can be seen going to one of the tables and having an argument with one of the restaurant’s patrons — a man in the white shirt.
It’s not clear what exactly the dispute was about, though the waitress was riled enough to shake her finger a couple of times.
Next, the male patron proved himself enough of a dick to hit a woman, and things spiralled into chaos.

The pair initially hurl tea at each other, the waitress throws a teapot at the man, who responds by grabbing the teapot and using it to club the side of the waitress’ head.
Another female waitress with black hair and a patron with a yellow jacket can be seen running to the fray to intervene as other patrons back away.
At one point the black haired waitress kicks the white shirted man in the leg, prompting him to retaliate by hitting her on the head with a teapot.
The fight ended after the second waitress left the scene, leaving the male instigator standing in the middle of the restaurant holding the empty teapot.
Police are now looking for a 63-year-old man surnamed Au — the man in the white shirt — and the two waitresses, a 44-year-old surnamed Chu, and a 50-year-old surnamed Lam.
