Taxi driver dead, 3 injured in head-on collision in Cheung Sha Wan

A taxi driver, 64, was killed and three were injured in a head-on collision last night on Tai Po Road in Cheung Sha Wan.
 
At 11:30pm last night, the taxi was approaching Caldecott Road while travelling south on Tai Po Road when it collided head first with a private car, according to a government statement.

The taxi lost control and swerved into the opposite lane, hitting a Mercedes Benz, reports Bastille Post.

The taxi driver sustained serious injuries to his head and was declared dead at Princess Margaret Hospital two hours later.

Three others, including the 27-year-old driver, a 33-year-old female passenger, and a young 6-year-old male passenger, were sent to Caritas Hospital for treatment.
