Taxi driver and would-be passengers arrested after ‘fighting over cabbie’s refusal to drive’

A taxi driver and two men were arrested for getting into a brawl on Friday night in Tsim Sha Tsui when the cabbie apparently refused to take them as passengers.

We’ve all been there, but thankfully it doesn’t always end in fistycuffs followed by arrest.

Three men, aged 23, 34 and 49, approached the stationary cab, looking to be dropped off at an unspecified destination, reports Apple Daily.

The driver, 37, allegedly refused to open the doors. He then proceeded to exit the vehicle and got into a heated discussion with the three, which was said to have resulted in a scuffle.

Police arrested the cabbie, the 23-year-old and the 49-year-old. We can only guess that the 34-year-old had the sense to go to hail another cab.
