Is holding your iPhone just too much like hard work? We couldn’t agree more. Help is, however, on hand. Or on wrist, as the case may be (sorry).
It has been announced that Hong Kong will be one of the countries to receive the Apple Watch on day one of its debut on April 24.
The news was announced yesterday at an Apple press event in San Francisco.
CEO Tim Cook said the mega company’s first foray into the world of wearable tech would be hitting nine countries first, including Japan, China and Hong Kong.
Thank god/Apple (same-same, right?) is launching in China and Hong Kong simultaneously, as wearable tech is obviously, by it’s very nature, perfect for smuggling.
Unlike iPhone 6s, the watches wouldn’t even have to be taped to the body.
Cook also announced that preorders for the watches will begin on April 10, the same day that previews will be on hand for prodding at some Apple stores.
Whether or not any of the chosen stores will be in Hong Kong has not yet been revealed.
