SPCA rescues injured, neglected puppy attacked by dogs in Yuen Long

A local resident called the police on Wednesday morning after finding a dying puppy in Yau Tin Village, Yuen Long.

Suspecting that it had been abused, she called the police, reports Oriental Daily

The officers found three adult dogs and one puppy in a 200-square-foot garden next to a shipping container home.

After further investigation, they concluded that the three larger dogs had attacked the puppy.

The owner of the four dogs is often away, according to the woman who called the police, leading her to come feed them rice every day.

The SPCA arrived on the scene to take care of the pup and to try to contact the owner.
