Someone managed to spell out ‘Hong Kong real universal suffrage’ on their PARKnSHOP receipt

Someone’s managed to combine two of the greatest pillars of contemporary Hong Kong culture in one photo: PARKnSHOP, and the yellow “I want real universal suffrage” banner, which has been meme-ified countless times ever since first appearing unfurled on the top of Lion Rock.

A photo of a receipt from the ubiquitous supermarket lists out items – ramen, milk tea, hot sauce and two varieties of tea – that spell out “I want real universal suffrage” vertically. The photo, taken by Ka Son, has been shared over 1,500 times and has accumulated more than 27,000 likes since being posted on Facebook by local magazine 100Most:

The caption says: “Even PARKnSHOP supports real universal suffrage! And it was only HKD63.7!”

Bonus points if you can replicate the receipt… in English.
