A man pulled over for driving “suspiciously” slowly at around 3am today was arrested for possession of narcotics, Oriental Daily reports.
Police officers were passing by Mong Kok when they apparently saw the private car driving near Sai Yeung Choi Street very slowly, despite there being little to no traffic. Police then pulled the driver over, which we imagine didn’t require much of a high-speed car chase.
A search reportedly revealed that the driver was keeping a small amount of crystal meth in the car’s glove compartment. It’s not quite a diamond in a velvet box, but we suppose some people just have to make do.
After the driver’s arrest, the car was dusted for fingerprints by forensic officers and taken to the police station for further investigation.
