Founder and chairman of Shaw brothers and chairman of Television Broadcasting Limited (TVB) passes away in his private residence at 107.
TVB released a statement saying that Shaw will be sorely missed. The Chief Executive, Leung Chun-ying, also expressed his condolences to Shaw’s family and applauded his contributions to the development of Hong Kong’s film and entertainment industry.
Shaw leaves behind two sons and two daughters. He married twice, first to Lady Lily Shaw, died in 1987, and then his long0time assistant Mona Fong.
