The week we’ve all been patiently salivating over is almost upon us. Yep, we’re talking Restaurant Week 2015, when more than 100 high class Hong Kong eateries open their doors and drop their prices for thrifty food lovers.
BRING.IT.ON!
From Feb. 27 to March 8, DiningCity will be giving us the chance to sample something different or push the boat out without digging too deep.
The participating eateries will be split into two categories, with prices somehow coming out even cheaper than last year. Whoop to reverse inflation!
In Category A, lunches will be HKD198 and dinners HKD418.
In Category B, lunches will be HKD118 and dinners HKD328.
The final list of contenders, their category placing and their menus will be revealed as public bookings start at 10am on Feb. 23.
You can, however, secure yourself a tasty priority booking simply by liking the Facebook page.
All meals promise at least three courses, although many will have more.
If you’ve experienced Restaurant Week before, you’ll know what a mare it is deciding where to go, so here are a few of our favourites:

Try the lesser known Peruvian cuisine and tipples, alongside Spanish, Japanese, Italian and Chinese influences, just for good measure.
Executive Chef Leung Nga Fung has taken Taiwanese food to a new, undeniably swanky level at Check-in Taipei. This is contemporary/traditional epitomised, and you simply must try it while it’s cheap.

When it comes to unpretentious, home-cooked, hearty French food, it doesn’t get much better that Le Grande Bouffe. (The main dude there is also pretty tasty. Just saying.)

A jewel in the Dining Concepts crown, Mama San by Will Meyrick brings us the best of all of Asia as conceptualised by a Scott. As weird as that sounds, the result is truly brilliant.

Go trendy and friendly with the bold Mediterranean sharing dishes at Isono in PMQ. Good food and good company – there’s nothing not to love.
Yep, they’re all in Central. So shoot us. We don’t get out much.
