19-year-old security guard, Chan Chuen-faat, arrested in March, appears at the Eastern Court for eight counts of charges of throwing things from a height.
The security guard first started tossing things off the residential block he was safeguarding when he got into an argument with a colleague. He continued to hurl objects off the building to release anger as he was unhappy at work. In total, Chan threw an incense burner on Jan. 18, two flower pots and another burner from Feb. 27-28, and more items on Mar. 2 and 3 before he was arrested.
The objects Chan threw smashed a windscreen of a car and one nearly struck a woman.
The young security guard has pleaded guilty for all charges and will be sentenced on Mar. 20.
