Coastal Skyline where the boyfriend worked as a security guard
A security guard of a Tung Chung housing estate is charged with the murder of his girlfriend. He told the court yesterday that he did not intend to kill her, but rather it was an accident as the victim fell onto the knife he was holding when they quarrelling.
Last Nov. 28, after his girlfriend expressed to end their relationship because she had fell in love with a younger and better looking colleague, he went to her apartment to plead for her not to leave him. The victim refused, and he took a knife from her living room and threatened to kill himself.
The victim told him to kill himself elsewhere, and the guard, angry, pointed the knife at her instead. The victim then went into the bedroom to make a phone call and he followed, and the two struggled. As they struggled and fell onto the bed, the victim’s back fell onto his knife, and she grabbed hold of his genitals intensely. In great pain, he stabbed her a number of times.
He stressed that he did not mean to kill her, but that it was an accident.
