Parents can’t just worry about their daughters now, their sons need protecting too!
A former RTHK DJ was sentenced to nine years in prison yesterday for molesting two young boys, nine and 10, and filmed them naked.
The DJ, 26-year-old Chan Chun-kit got the opportunity to abuse and film the boys when they stayed over at Chan’s place when he was their tutor.
The two boys were identified as X and Y in court. X was molested seven times over a period of 10 months, while Y was sexually assaulted five times for 2.5 years from 2010 to 2012. One one occasion, Chan sexually assaulted X and Y at the same time – acts involved oral sex and touching the boys’ genitals.
Chan was discovered of his crimes when an officer at X’s school found a nude picture of X on a mainland website and reported it to the school.
Chan met X’s mother via a social networking site and became close friends. Y was Chan’s neighbour.
The High Court ruled Chan’s acts were “despicable” and was every parents worst nightmare but Chan claimed he had genuine affection for the boys and had sexual interest in children four years ago when he first watched child pornography.
