A 21-year-old cyclist was injured after getting attacked by an angry knife-wielding driver.
The victim was riding through Quarry Bay with three friends at 1am on Wednesday when a car almost hit the group at the junction of King’s Road and Finney Street, reports Apple Daily.
Two men jumped out of the car – one of them holding a foot-long knife – and got into an argument with the three bikers
One of the three cyclists, who was positioned in front of the car, pedalled off in a hurry – leaving his poor friends, who were behind the car, to fend for themselves.
The knife-wielding man attacked the 21-year-old biker, who suffered a minor cut to his left arm.
He and the remaining man rode four kilometres to Jardine’s Bazaar in Causeway Bay to find their friend before calling the police.
The attackers are still on the loose.
