Art collective Cyrcle, known for their installations and murals on the streets of LA, collaborated their talent with Above Second and partnering with Youth Outreach to repaint an outdoor climbing wall in Sai Wan, Hong Kong.
The wall was only reachable in harnesses, so after a day of training, Cyrcle painted the public wall by dangling 14 stories in the air with bags full of spray.
The theme “Rise Above” was a particularly apt theme for a mural for the Youth Outreach as the organisation helps get children off the streets and away from drugs and crime. The mural is of a boy rising into the sky in a hot air balloon, and hopes to inspire youth in Hong Kong to rise above challenges they face each day.
