A 12-year-old primary six schoolgirl jumped to her death from the roof of an apartment building in Kwai Chung two days ago. The girl just had her first period, leading to suspicions that she was depressed about menstruating.
She left her parents’ apartment dressed for school in her P.E. uniform and wearing a backpack as normal.
But instead of going to school, she walked up the stairs to the 38th floor, where she jumped off the roof and died instantly.
The girl did not leave behind a suicide note, and she deleted all her phone calls and text messages. The primary student was not bullied at school, had good academic results and was not dating anyone, according to The Sun.
