Poultry Puzzle Continues: 3,500 chickens dead in Hong Kong, cause remains unknown

The Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) has been continuing their investigation into the mysterious case of the dying chickens at a Yuen Long farm. The “chicken-death toll”, as the Government called it, was at 3,500 as of Aug. 11.

The samples have tested negative for avian influenza and Newcastle disease so far.

Here’s our theory: they’re filming Chicken Run 2 and the chickens have faked their deaths and are now on a sunny holiday in a vegetarian country.
