Hong Kong police van loses control while dodging wild boar, two officers injured

A police van lost control this morning around 3am in Stanley and crashed into railings and a lamppost while trying to avoid a wild boar .

No pig jokes please.

The two officers in the vehicle were injured in the crash. One suffered a shoulder injury while the other hurt his fingers, reports Ming Pao.

Both were sent to a hospital for medical treatment in a conscious state. Thankfully, the boar trotted away unscathed.

The police are currently conducting further investigations in to the cause of the accident, as “we were dodging a pig” clearly doesn’t seem like a good enough excuse.
