A police patrol dog, was found dead in the sea near Healthy Street east this morning.
The three-year-old Belgian shepherd, Dax, was reported missing when it ran away from its handler earlier this week. According to the SCMP, a search was conducted for the missing dog the past few days.
The police will be reviewing the case to see if the handler had followed guidelines and if negligence was involved that resulted in the missing and consequently death of Dax.
