Police are on the hunt for a man who attacked a security guard with a pair of scissors in Tai Po last night.

The victim, a 38-year-old man surnamed Leung, was doing his routine patrol of Tai Wo Plaza at about 10pm last night.

The attacker was sitting on some stairs, and as Leung walked past him, he took out a pair of scissors and attacked him, and then fled the scene.

Leung sustained injuries to his head and hands, and video posted Facebook last night shows him bloodied and sitting on some stairs as paramedics tend to his wounds before taking him to an ambulance.

According to Apple Daily, police found a bottle of paint thinner at the scene. They confirmed that they’re looking for a Chinese man aged between 30 to 40-year-old, about 1.7 meters tall with short hair, and wearing a dark shirt.
